Lego® has kept my mind busy since I first began playing with it in 1983. The seemingly endless ways in which a pile of bricks could be combined always fascinated me. I can still remember the many afternoons spent on my living room floor letting my imagination run wild.

As the golden years of cartoons(1984-1986) exposed me to the wonderful world of giant robots, it only made sense to combine the world of Lego® with that of robots. Unfortunately, while the creativity was there I lacked the skills and resources to bring things to life.

Now, as an adult, I may not be as creative as I once was but the skills have been honed and the resources have been acquired.

On a whim, I decided to build the original Foundry site over the course of a weekend in October 2001. The site would not go live until January 1st 2002 as I developed additional content.

I never imagined so many people would bother visiting this site but I'm glad that it's giving people excuses to pull out that old pile of bricks and start building again. Build Well.
